With more than thirty years of practical experience, including the in the Gulf as well as Egypt, Mr. Ashraf Al-Feshawy is a well experienced lawyer who manages to resolve the most sophisticated disputes as well as representing clients in various arbitration cases. The breadth of his knowledge covers a wide range of areas, including but not limited to construction, corporate, lease contracts, enforcement of arbitral awards, bankruptcy, banking transactions, commercial agencies, labour, and administrative disputes.
Mr. Feshawy is an outstanding litigator with the ability to draw reasonable, logical conclusions as well as creative solutions for solving legal problems, helping the clients to achieve their business goals and overcome legal challenges. He has hands-on expertise in drafting contracts, preparing legal strategies and comprehending large and multi-tier disputes, then distilling them down into manageable and useful solutions for the clients’ best interests. Being appointed as the managing partner, Mr. Feshawy leads successfully the law firm according to the best international standards.
Coming from an academic and consultation background, Dr. Yassin El-Shazly is an international legal academic, with more than twenty years of experience, who serves as an Associate Professor of Commercial & Maritime Law at Ain Shams University (on Leave) and visiting professor at the American University in Cairo (AUC). Dr. Shazly was a lecturer at Jean Moulin Lyon 3- France University (France) and he also served as the Associate Dean for Outreach and Community Engagement at the College of Law, Qatar University. Dr. Shazly has well established experience in advisory and legal consultation services including international projects granted by the African Union and the European Union. He also served as legal advisor to various governmental entities such as acting as the chairman of the Financial Supervisory Authority (Egypt), and advising the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (Egypt), the Ministry of Commerce & Industry (Qatar) and the Ministry of Justice (Qatar). Dr. Shazly has extensive practical experience in the field of negotiating and drafting business contracts as well as reviewing various legislative instruments and policies. He has served as a legal counsel in various arbitration cases at the ICC, LCIA, QICCA and CRCICA and is frequently appointed as an arbitrator and legal expert in many cases covering a wide area of business related matters such as business contracts, corporate law, banking transactions, intellectual property, sports law, capital market, telecommunication law and administrative law disputes.
