Omar has been in the legal profession since 2020. Prior to joining Al-Feshawy Elshazly & Partners Law Firm, he was a member of a leading law firm in Egypt where he advised on general corporate law, civil, commercial and criminal litigation as well as on investment treaty arbitration.
His practice with the Firm focuses on dispute resolution work, particularly arbitration cases in both Arabic and English languages under various proceedings (Ad-hoc, institutional arbitrations under ICC and others) and legal research as well as external litigation cases particularly under Qatari laws and contentious and non-contentious advisory work.
Omar holds a double Bachelors of Law degree from the School of Law, Sorbonne and Cairo Universities, and a master’s degree from Sorbonne University.
Furthermore, Omar holds the first level of the professional arbitration diploma delivered by the faculty of Law at Ain Shams University in cooperation with the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA) with excellent grade beside being ranked first among 47 students.
Omar is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association.
Omar is fluent in Arabic, English and French and is intermediate in both reading and writing Spanish language.
